Can someone confirm if they upgraded to Win 10 and can see and read their Mac formatted external Seagate drive.

We will be glad to assist you. Yeah I read an Amazon review where some guy paid $40 for the latest full version of their software i.e. Paragon because they had the same problem with the Seagate OEM version. The latest full version from Paragon is guaranteed to be Win10 compatible unlike Seagate's version 9.1 which most likely isn't since Paragon is trying to get people to upgrade to the latest full version. Also, guy from Amazon review said he contacted Seagate about the issue and they had no clue and just told him to try redownloading the version they provide on their website so I wouldn't hold my breath. Below is a reply from Seagate Support 'Thank you for contacting Seagate Support.
The version we have has been tested on numerous Windows 10 systems. In every case it has worked properly, as there were no major changes to functionality between Windows 8 and 10. As the version has been tested as compatible, no update was required by Paragon. Check how the drive is listed in Disk Management. Right-click the Start icon, select Disk management, then look for the Backup Plus drive. Does it have a drive letter assigned?
If not, can you right-click it and manually assign a drive letter? We have seen one Windows 10 system that would not show any externals, even if Disk Management assigned drive letters, no matter what format they used.
Only creating shortcuts on the desktop to the drive worked, it would never show the drive letters under This PC, so verifying how the drive shows in Disk Management could let us know if your system is reacting in a similar way. I had success with the following: 1.
Uninstall the Paragon HFS+ Software from Add/Remove Programs 2. Plug in the Seagate Hard drive. It is important for the external hard drive to be plugged in prior to running the software. 3. Right Click the HFS4win.exe file (the install file from Seagate) 4.
Select 'Troubleshoot Compatibility' 5. Follow the instructions to reinstall the program 6. Try the drive again When I selected 'Troubleshoot Compatibility', it suggested the best mode was 'Windows Vista'. I selected 'Test Software' and it ran the program without issue and I now have access to my external hard drive again. I did not need to go any further.
