My Karabiner use-case is providing an emulated numeric keypad for use with various graphics packages (After Effects / Blender) so I can work on my laptop. After Effects needs num-pad-0 to do a RAM preview, for example, which Karabiner used to let me do with Fn+M. Until Apple broke it with Sierra.
